Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 1995, at Berkeley California) is an actress. She is an actress from America who has appeared in Choices (2010) as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento began her career as an actress as an actress in Rome. She is part of a family that also includes a number of filmmakers. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon It was in the film Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she could change from portraying young girls, to more mature, complex role. This movie received a positive review in the Cannes International Film Festival. She worked with her father for the first time in Trauma an award-winning film by Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favorite actress and she played an anorexic seeking to locate the murderer of her parents. Asia was a part of Dario's The Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed with her dad. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, a physically-disabled girl, was a difficult and complex role that brought it the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. The film also featured her in a major performance on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. The role she played was in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli, which won her the David di Donatello award as well as the Grolla d'oro. Asia began directing short films in 1994. In addition, she produced an episode of the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her make a documentary along with her father. 1998 she directed AbelAsia about the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film received a prize from the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was both the main actress in the film and also the creator of its screenplay. The film debuted in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. The film won an award in Brooklyn during the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
